Brief info
As a current student at Cal State Fullerton pursuing an electrical engineering degree, she also works as a part time CST (certified surgical technologist). This year, her hopes for UMN is to work to help Muslims, born into the faith or reverts, to know that whenever they don’t feel like they have a community there’s always a home for them here as well as strengthen the bond within the Shi’a community. Saffa is excited to be a part of “a bigger movement that will truly leave an impact on the youth of future generations.”
She enjoys reading books, playing video games, and sharing her father’s obsession with politics.
